can someone explain to my why this is so valuable in the modern day? serious question - why is a heterogeneous population so coveted over a homogenous population? if i go to china i want to immerse myself in chinese culture. not an amalgamation of cultures. if i go to poland i want to immerse myself in polish culture. not an amalgamation of cultures.
is this kind of diversity supposed to exist only in cities? or only in certain countries? are homogenous populations immoral in their entirety?
No one is asking China to be more white and the statement is typically made towards Americans because we are a country of immigrants
it doesn't make sense to ask america to be more or less white though, because "white" encompasses so many different cultures
