A big punt return for the Razorbacks sets up a 17-yard touchdown run for Dominique Johnson, but Missouri State immediately answers with a quick 8-play, 80-yard drive, capped off by an 18-yard TD pass from Jordan Pachot to Jacardia Wright, 7-7. The Arkansas offense stays hot and also puts together an 80-yard TD drive, in only 7 plays, ending with an 18-yard Jaedon Wilson TD catch from KJ Jefferson. The Razorbacks add on two more field goals before halftime, 20-7.

The Bear offense gets going again in the 3rd quarter, cutting the lead to 6 with a short 6-play, 50-yard drive. The Missouri State offense becomes even more efficient after an Arkansas 3-and-out, quickly going 55 yards in 4 plays, with Pachot finding his 3rd different endzone target in Raylen Sharpe, and suddenly Arkansas is down 1. The Razorbacks put together a 12-play drive, but opt to punt from the Missouri State 39 on 4th & 3 - very high on the surrender index. Da Bears make them pay for it, going 80 yards in 7 plays, pushing the lead to 8 with another Jacardia Wright touchdown catch, 28-20 with 8 minutes left. Arkansas then puts together a major power drive, going 80 yards and converting 5 3rd downs, the last one a KJ Jefferson touchdown pass to Isaiah Sategna. They should definitely go for 2, but that's too difficult to implement I guess, 28-27. The Razorbacks force a 3-and-out, but only have 5 seconds left when they get the ball back at their own 39 - KJ Jefferson's hail mary attempt is batted down.
