The overall show stayed consistently good, though focusing on each character's internal motivations and reasons for political intrigue reminded me of Space Battleship Yamato. It was worthy of the Last Exile moniker, which was good. Another 20 eps of the show seemed daunting, but it was worth doing. It'll be nice to dig back into shorter shows though.
