I said FROM THE START that yes, regular Russians should be punished w/ sanctions and their lives made miserable until they've had enough and overthrow Putler, and others on this site thought that was monstrous or unthinkable. #Validation Putler's whole "deal" with his populace (particularly in Moscow/St. Pete) is that they don't care how many atrocities he commits, so long as his governance enriches them and doesn't affect them personally. His hold on power will only loosen once they suffer, too. I hope they hurt both economically and on the forced drafting front, when Ukraine is done liquidating enough Russian soldiers that Putler has no choice but to conscript the city dwellers, too. Right now, they profit off of the misery of rural ethnic minority Russians and all the countries around Russia that are subjected to their cruelty. They are complicit. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
