I think the idea is that you're outside your body moving around and you essentially go where they are / are in the spiritual realm so you can call out to them / blah blah.

I mean it's fake but I think that's the idea.

I mean if satan can just casually stroll into Yahweh's domain for no other reason than a gambling addiction then it stands to reason other people can as well.

now I'm imaginging God getting mildly annoyed by the stream of new age nerds astral projecting into his house trying to fight him. Make his morning coffee? Reddit nerd. Go get the morning newspaper? Reddit nerd.

Then he's chilling at some otherworldly bar drinking whatever is strong enough to get god drunk, complaining to Buddha and Izanami that he can't get a moment's peace
