Yeah, looked it up and it's the same studio.
I thought that Rilakkuma and Kaoru was ok, just kinda boring. But this looks pretty fun.

I mean, that's fair, I liked it, was pretty chill and my little sister found it very amusing, but admittedly, we're both probably not the target audience for that show, haha. From what I understand from the little research I have done about that fanbase a year or two ago, Rilakkuma appeals to the 30+ year-old single, Japanese women of the world, which is who Kaoru was even supposed to represent. The demographics of Americans are probably similar; just lonely older ladies, as mean as that might sound.

Regardless, I liked the aesthetic of the show, so it's cool to see them get more work!
