What's the one Star Trek series y'all would recommend to someone who's only ever watched the Abrams trilogy? Almost fell asleep during the third one of those, so clearly I'm not a fan of constant action setpieces. Also not a fan of how sterile newer treks in general look. Based on the clips I've seen I'd probably prefer older treks because the sets look more lived in to me, if that makes sense. Would prefer something with a greater emphasis on social issues and day in the life type of scenes more than action scenes.
