You get extremely high levels of strength, durability, speed, energy protection, senses and flight. All for basically free. Knight's Radiant abilities are a ton of work and the power source is much less convenient. And while many of the abilities are very cool, they just don't have the sheer extreme limits Kryptonian abilities do. A single punch from a Kryptonian would completely obliterate shardplate.
