the topic says MORE than 5 entries
so franchises with exactly 5 entries do not qualify
(I believe Die Hard and Highlander are excluded by that)
You know now that you say, it is suppose to be MORE than 5. So Die Hard is out, but Highlander has 6(there's an animated film).

I thought the common opinion was that Saw 2 > Saw 1. Everyone I know in person who has seen the series talks about Saw 2 being their favorite.

Better traps, acting, and we actually get to see John Cramer in action instead of at the movie's end (in Saw 1).

Also, there were more than 5 movies in the RoboCop franchise? I thought there were 4. Are we counting TV series as one or something?
Personally I'm torn on Saw. I've known people of both opinions on which is better. Even I'm not sure on which is better, but I tend to lean towards 1. Going off the replies here, I assumed it was consensus. You are right about Robocop though. My mistake.
