I had broken both of my forearm bones. The doctors were attempting to set the bones. My fingers were basically in these Chinese finger trap type things while my arm hung down and the doctors attempted to fiddle with it to put it back into place. They did this without giving me any sort of pain meds.

After thinking they got it, they took more Xrays. Moving things around revealed that my bones were actually straight up shattered and now scattered all over the place in there. I had surgery two days later to screw everything back into place. After that I felt relatively fine.
