Not that the game doesn't practically fall over itself to give you over powered accessories like the Ghost Medal, The Jinx Belt and the Attack Scarf.

In any case "Just don't use good items and team mates" is a bad argument against a game being too easy and having bad balance. Like playing Dark Souls and saying "just don't use dodge".

Yeah I generally agree within reason (like obviously if someone wants to sit down and power level I'm not going to hold that against the game). But it's one thing to determine through trying it out that Bowser and Mallow suck and another to be playing SMRPG for the first time and google searching "optimal team". The latter just feels like someone who is afraid of having any sort of struggle playing an RPG.
