Rocky

Other movies in that series are more fun than the original, but the first movie is clearly the best as a movie.

no way, 1-4 are all pretty equal tbh

Fast and the Furious

not even close. tokyo drift, Fast5, and FastX are all better

Scream

yea

Not Halloween because Halloween III exists

halloween 2 is really good anyway. it's in a hospital, it's great. Carpenter wasn't the only talented person working on Halloween, Debra Hill produced a bunch of great movies and even wrote some of the dialogue in halloween anyway.

Is Saw very successful?

saw 4 is really really good

Probably a lot of slasher movie franchises would fit this criteria. Scream, Halloween, etc.

i think the ones we mentioned would be the only one. Friday the 13th 1-4 are all great but they go down after that until Jason X, which is definitely not better than the first 4 even if it's good.

V/H/S/2 was better than 1

Insidious 1 was the only good one, idk how many they made

Nightmare on Elm Street you might be tempted to say, however, New Nightmare is phenomenal.

Hellraiser....almost.... but all the cool Leviathan shit happens in the 2nd one....

Alien is definitely the best, imo.
