Also, despite the spectacle I still don't quite understand the point of having motorcycle chases. Is the officer trying to make the dude crash? If not, is he simply trying to get the guy to slow down? If he's trying to get him to slow down, just how's he going to accomplish that; by reaching out with his clutch hand, maintaining perfect use of his throttle hand, and trying to grab the other riders brake? Seems like a dangerous maneuver for both parties. Seems incredibly dangerous, and not just to the riders but to random bystanders as well. These guys are whipping around corners and cutting through traffic like crazy. They're not even confined to the streets, they're riding through sidewalks and other pedestrian walkways and stuff. What happens if someone crashes?
