real talk yall, it'd be difficult for a true to spirit LoZ film to not be what the chuds are gonna call "woke".

Yeah, Zelda usually is in need of rescue. But she's also rarely just there as just the damsel to be rescued. she's important, she's often actively engaged in holding back Ganon or whatever other big bad, even when captured or imprisoned. It's almost never a case of "hero defeats big bad so he can save the princess" and instead a case of "hero saves the princess who is then the one who properly defeats the big bad"

And she's never just dangling over the fridge to move Link's story, if anything Link is there to move her story. Zelda has pretty much always been a fuckin badass.
