Reminder that the student loan debt problem is $1.77 trillion. While these steps are nice, they're tiny, and a lot of it is pushing along a forgiveness process that already exists and another big chunk is covering for scam schools that were allowed to run for the longest time. You're not going to solve these problems through bits and pieces, especially since people are still having to take out massive loans and it's only getting worse:
