English is strict here but it isnt taken seriously. English is studied for tests. Kids really dont retain much of it unless they seek outside sources. You know, cause languages reburie output, and nobody speaks English here. I was interviewing this dude last month. He tells us he's really skilled at English. I ask him some basic questions in English. He can't respond at all. This isn't even the first time that happened.
