Evil Republicans that vote just to spite blue states and love their own pork barrel spending but will fight tooth and nail to deprive blue states of federal dollars.
Remember, this is the party that changed tax law to (along w/ give cuts to the rich) explicitly harm high tax states and thus hurt Democrats.
They've pushed against spending on the NE corridor for decades.

NE should have high speed rail, there's no fucking good reason for it not to. DC - Boston has so many large cities practically in a line over just several hundred miles.
