Remember, this is the party that changed tax law to (along w/ give cuts to the rich) explicitly harm high tax states and thus hurt Democrats.
They've pushed against spending on the NE corridor for decades.

Mostly looks to fix tunnels, which is good but more funding is needed to really bring the current lines to modernity much less add existing infrastructure. It's a good idea, it's a good start. I really hope this is a sign of more things to come and not the end of things.
Well, it's something.
NE should have high speed rail, there's no fucking good reason for it not to. DC - Boston has so many large cities practically in a line over just several hundred miles.
