Guy isnt super popular yet or anything, but I like his voice and the videos always have an interesting, chill vibe. Anyway, he talks specifically about obnoxious thumbnails in one of his vids. Basically, he hated them and originally planned on never doing any stupid ones with his face, but then he tried it one time and the YT algorithm ended up spreading out the vid to a much larger extent, which he wasnt expecting at all. So, necessary evil, pretty much. Although with how big Mr Beast is now Im sure he could stop and it wouldnt make much of a difference at all. oh no I get that I just don't get why people won't watch a video because of a thumbnail. I still remember when ppl were posting sexy thumbnails cause that got clicks.
