Topic	How has Nintendo failed to surpass Star Fox 64

It'd have to reinvent itself while staying true to its themes. A rail-shooter that can be beaten in like 2 hours being sold at full retail price is a very hard sell these days. I think the lack of online play is what made me not get the 3DS remake back then. Like, it was sitting right there, and Nintendo didn't do it. It's not like they were opposed to 3DS online play at the time either, since Mario Kart 7 released that same year and it had online play. Yeah, it's bizarre considering the DS Star Fox game had an online vs mode.
