Otherwise I have no doubt he would have killed both of them. But also, Kangs threat is that he can beat everyone easily with his fists like Thanos. It's the multiverse and the power he can hold over people's lives by controlling the multiverse. Antman is stuck in some kind of Kang dimension, which is why he feels everything is off. I think Kang is a Greta villain, the problem is a villain like that requires a lot of good writing.
