gmom is kinda exploding over the stress now trying to wrap our brains around an update and it's certainly making her irate and giving me a headache

no specifics or anything coming from the courthouse, gdad is treating everybody as an enemy and his paranoia is keeping him from cooperation, we've been trying to get a hold of the psychologist's receptionist but no answer (apparently gdad's been blowing up her phone all day yesterday), we've done the best we've can to grasp the situation and the best we got for now is asking gsis to ask gdad for an update

ultimately, amidst all gdad's passive aggressive garbage, the new news we got is that gdad has given up and isn't getting involved anymore. part of this is because he's absolutely incapable of anything, he can't process information whether it's written or spoken to him, and he has too much anxiety to call anyone to find out himself. so all he's really been doing is sitting by his phone waiting for the arresting officer to tell him everything even though it's now all out of their hands. gmom was in communications with that officer the night before and she just directed gmom to the courthouse phone number who is actually in charge now

so whatever, the fear of gdad getting gbro out on bail appears to be out the window now because of gdad's pure incompetence so it doesn't even matter if he wants to or not. annoying as fuck because he's making up insane conspiracy theories that gmom is telling the cop not to talk to gdad when the entire reality is we're trying to ask him to figure out what the fuck is going on because we don't know and the last thing he said was about releasing gbro and then he went silent.

like with gbro, gdad can't accept his own fault. because that's all this is. he's too incompetent to do any of this so he's just gonna blame everyone else hiding it from him when he's literally putting in zero work to do anything himself. his own incompetence is making him estrange his relationships further and further which just makes it more and more impossible to try to help him. we WANT to share info, I WANT to be able to help my dad, but his delusions are pushing the opposite and it's entirely his own fault.
