That's a bummer. It can be debilitating. I think Selena Gomez has Lupus and had to have a liver transplant or something. I had a friend who had it, and stress caused her hair to fall out, and left blotches on her face. She had good years and bad years, depending on how things were going with work, school, relationships and so on. She also had lesions/sores inside her mouth that sprung up now and then.

I believe once she got on her meds for a year or two, or a change in meds or something, she started to get way better. It was really dark at times though, because as a friend, what are you supposed to do?

Anyway, House did kind of make it a joke, but it's clearly a threatening issue.
