Why's this disingenuous BS always come back? There's services for people who are disabled, public transit/walking for people who can't drive. If you can afford paying $10 for a single $5 latte at Starbucks, you can afford to tip.

99% of people on DoorDash are just lazy. To be generous, "they're paying for the convenience of not picking up their own food." But it's more likely they want to sit home playing video games, hanging with family, or watching Netflix. Nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't ENTITLE you to these drivers' labor.

You're not making some grand statement by not tipping. Talk to your representative in government if you want to address the problem. But saving $5 on delivery doesn't make you a good person. Don't like to tip? Don't use the app.
Drivers aren't entitled to a tip, period. I helped my sister do door dash for at least 6 months, not once did we have the attitude like a lot of drivers seem to have. We never acted like we're entitled to tips, because we knew we weren't. Did no tip orders suck? Sure but usually other orders made up for it or we'd get cash tips.

The point is, yes some people don't just want to tip BUT there's multiple reasons why someone might not be able to tip and that's ok because drivers aren't entitled to a tip, period.

Want to make a liveable wage? Go get a different job because trying to live on doing door dash and similar apps is a dumb idea. It's good for extra money but it's not going to make you a liveable wage.
