I don't want to tip. So you know what I do? I fucking go to the restaurant and pick it up myself. (of course, tip creep means now they're pressuring you to tip for fucking curbside pick up or counter service....)

I remember in high school, and this was well before door dash... I rode around once w/ my friend who had a pizza delivery job, just to hang out and talk and such. He got a few orders to take, and once in the car noted that one of the addresses never tipped him. He proceeded to deliver to every house except that one, go back, pick up another batch of orders, deliver them, repeat once more... before finally delivering to the no-tipper. :D

You'll tip someone who brings food to your table from the kitchen, but not someone who brings it from the restaurant to your doorstep? Madness. And drivers have held grudges against no-tippers for a long time, well before the modern app-based system.
