105.8 is when a fever will do actual damage to your body. But, if its over 102 and wont lower with Tylenol its best to get checked out.

Yea so this experience is so weird. Google says anything above 102/103, go to ER. At 5am this morning, I called my doctors office (who has an on-call doctor for after hours emergency), and he told me to call my PCP when they open at 8am and schedule a same day appointment; dont bother with the ER or urgent care.

I called my PCP around 9am when I woke up, and the nurse that answered went through a questionnaire, and the computer is telling her to tell me to go to the ER. I said what the on-call doctor told me, and the nurse said shell send a message to my PCP.

My PCP called me about 30 minutes later and was like so I heard you dont want to go to the ER not urgent care. Sis, come on. Thats not what I said at all. Ultimately, she told me to go to the urgent care, and now Im here, waiting for a bunch of test results.

I wonder if Ill get something out of this, or if this will just be a take some more tynenol and go sleep it off bullshit, after like a $500 fee
