It's the difficulty that comes with trying to evolve a character whose most recognizable form is as a guy who can't ignore an injustice but lacks the luxury to just step out of his average civilian life to be a hero. There's just something missing when you have a Peter Parker who has a balanced life where he can juggle all his different hats without becoming overwhelmed or making compromises.
