no, because I am aware that social media is not an accurate representation of what I see in real life. In my personal life I see less Halloween decorations around the neighborhood than I saw in the early 90s. There are of course a few people that go extravagant and buy whatever the 'latest thing' is; recall the tall skeleton and the tall pumpkin man this year. I'm sure Halloween spending has increased year over year in general though, simply due to population growth. This a bunch. People need to stop taking social media so seriously. There's a ton of us not contributing to it guaranteeing it's a skewed view of reality.
