I've always suspected the GC had something to do with no other Nintendo system having analog triggers, even though Luigi's Mansion & Super Mario Sunshine are probably the only games where they truly matter (& have versions without it anyway), but whatever the reason, it's definitely more than "offset", especially when the GC is currently 3 generations from the Switch. --- Remember kids, it's only an RPG until someone gets hit with a meteor; Then it's a JRPG!
