Genuinely some of the combat encounters and weapon designs are really good. Unfortunately the game decides which weapons can be used in which fights and you can't carry your favourite ones with you. A large percentage of the game's fights are exhibition encounters to show off cool weapons that you then don't get to use again. After beating it and thinking it was awful I thought that since the game told me it unlocked chapter select I could return to some of those fire fights and just play them again, but nope. Even with chapter select you still have to go through unskippable cutscenes and "walk and talk" scenes, to the point that I couldn't muster a care.
