Day 17 Results:

(1) Claire Lightning Farron (FFXIII) --VS-- Mog (FFVI) - 20-18
Mog is the first playable moogle in the Final Fantasy series, and the first instance of the name Mog, which has become a recurring name for moogles.

Ashelia "Ashe" B'nargin Dalmasca (FFXII) --VS-- (32) Sabin Rene Figaro (FFVI) - 21-19
In the Japanese version, Sabin is established as the younger twin and Edgar the elder, and the English Super NES script has Sabin refer to Edgar as "big brother" on several occasions. References to their respective ages are removed from the retranslation Gameboy Advance script; the reason is unclear.

(17) Ramza Beoulve (FFT) --VS-- Red XIII (FFVII) - 22-15
It was character designer Tetsuya Nomura's idea to have a four-legged party member, but it was a struggle to make it work. Some issues were that Red XIII wouldn't easily be able to climb ladders, and when he turned his tail his body would end up going inside walls.

Black Mage (FFI) --VS-- Ardyn Izunia (FFXV) - 17-19
Some of the recurring aspects of the Final Fantasy series did not appear until later on. The original Final Fantasy did not feature a character named Cid. Since chocobos were introduced in Final Fantasy II, this is the only game not to feature them, and it is one of only three main series games not to feature moogles.
