I can tell Im truly getting old because from a music standpoint there are quite a few people popping up over the last few years I had no clue who they were. I used to be up on pop culture and even if I wasnt a direct fan of the artist I knew who they were but this girl I wasnt even aware of until she keeps getting shown in this Dunkin Donuts commercial with Ben Affleck. I think it's a technology thing. It for sure seems there is dozens or more "artists" today that are huge people haven't even heard of. But 20 years ago it was like.....trl, MTV, Napster, Kazaa. Then it wasn't like you found new shit there only things you knew of I miss that shit. Used to be ecstatic to see my dl speed going 4kbps instead of 3.... ... Copied to Clipboard! |
