But only in Minnesota.

The Twin Cities are currently a testing ground for Taco Bell's possible new menu item: Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

The fast-food giant said in an email to subscribers that "fans in the Minneapolis area" are able to try the new nuggets. It's one of two menu items being tested by Taco Bell, Newsweek reports, the other being Cheesy Street Chalupas in the Indianapolis area.

The nuggets are made with "marinated all-white meat from whole muscle chicken breast, marinated in spiced jalapeo buttermilk before being breaded and fried," according to the restaurant.

They also come with two sauce options: the signature Bell sauce, made with tomatoes, red chiles, onion and garlic; or the hot and sweet Jalapeno Honey Mustard, made from sweet honey with a kick of jalapeo and tangy mustard.

The nuggets come in two sizes: a five-piece with one sauce for $4.99 or a 10-piece with two sauces for $6.99. Prices may vary by location.

The food item is available at 80 Taco Bell locations within the Twin Cities metro area.

I'm old enough to remember when Taco Bell wasn't a rip-off.
