Oh that's a great rec. The Addams Family is a great platformer. Never played Values though since the Genesis port was never released in NA.
It felt like it was more of a Nintendo series.
First we got Festers Quest on the Nes, where Fester for some reason fights invading aliens.
Then we got 3 platformer games inspired by the first movie, the 8-bit one (Master System/Nes), the 16-bit one (Genesis/Snes), and the TG-16 one (where you play that lawyer guy in some kind of prequel / alternative story).
The Gameboy got a game that at first seems inspired by the 16-bit game, but it is its own thing, I dont think it is even related to the movie.
Then we got Values on Genesis/Snes, which is more Zelda inspired.
After that, it skipped Sega.
Pugsleys Treasure Hunt on Snes is a spiritual sequel to the first 16-bits game, inspired by the then current Addams Family cartoon. It got less levels, which weights up by a huge graphical variation in the levels.
It also got ported to the Nes and GameBoy, which were basically ports of the first Snes game.
Then we got The New Addams Family on GameBoy Color, basically a point and click game based on the rebooted TV series. Strangely it only got released in Europe.
