Adoptive dad eventually abandons his daughter he has raised to go be with his secret second family. The first thing he says to his bio daughter when meeting her is literally "you are my only daughter". This after raising a girl for like 10 years. This is of course treated as a good and logical decision that nobody really blames him for. Just the message of it as far as blood vs adoption really upset me.
