Topic	What Pokemon should I use on my playthrough of Pokemon Fire Red?

Starmie learns Thunderbolt and Psychic. Tentacruel's bulky and easy to find. Gyarados is so good he's on the blacklist. Meanwhile fire's like Ninetails (Yeah whatever.) Flareon (I have chortles.) Arcanine (I don't know what this Pokemon does in Gen 3.) Magmar (I think this is a version exclusive.) Rapidash (Don't know what this does either.) Fearow's really losing my favor so Aerodactyl's looking more likely.
