Topic	Kevin McCarthy considering resigning before the end of this term

He'd cling onto any remaining shred of power he possibly could, like a true hero. Kevin McCarthy, what a fucking loser! Inohira posted... He's already peaked in government career advancement so now he's just gonna cash out with a shift to the private sector. Contrast with someone who Pelosi who actually cares about the job and is staying in the House even though she's not Speaker anymore. But with McCarthy it was all for the status, not the work. And yet idiots keep clamoring for "term limits", when each new generation of Republicans is more vile than the last and the real grift is in the Congress --> lobbyist revolving door. Yeah, pushing even more Congress critters into that route will make things better! ~~Man, it's weird to go from sarcasm to serious back to sarcasm again all in one post.
