Well I'm never visiting Paris now.

Anyway if you have bedbugs there's a few things you can do to protect yourself.

1. Don't be home except to sleep. Just go literally anywhere else.
2. Only wear clothing freshly extracted from the dryer.
3. Seal everything in ziplock bags when not in use.
4. Throw away your current mattress and manually scrub your bed frame before buying new mattresses.
5. Get 4 large buckets, put your bed's legs inside the buckets, then fill the buckets with soapy water. If your bed doesn't have legs, get a new bed entirely.
6. Wash and dry your bedsheets daily. Go directly from dryer to bed.
7. Use caulk to cover every corner of every surface in your house.
If you're diligent, you'll eventually kill them all.
The problem is that they don't just live in beds. They can be anywhere they can hide, including inside walls, cracks in window frames, bookshelves, and even electronics.
