Repubs would eat a bullet before they nominated a Dem for House Speaker, so Speaker Jefferies during a GOP controlled Congress is the least likely route. They would easily keep the government shutdown over risking the safety of their families becoming targets for MAGA domestic terrorists. Not to mention it gives them an excuse to not govern. Least likely, but it still might happen if the GOP somehow screws this up. And I'm expecting them to screw it up somehow --- Narutaki was right.
