But what you're describing is not indicative of an alcoholism problem. Some people just like to drink at social gatherings. Like while watching a game, or going out for a meal, or hanging out at a birthday party. What makes drinking a couple of beers at a baby shower any different than other settings? The expecting mother shouldn't be drinking much, but there's no reason any of the guests can't drink. This was not trolling at all, and the fact that you think so means that you have some major bias going on. It also sounds like you need to chill.
