If they did, they'd realize that the guy who fed the hungry for free, healed the sick for free, hung out with lepers, prostitutes, the mentally ill, and other "unclean" outcasts, said that it was easier for a camel to pass the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven, ordered his disciples to throw away their wealth and follow him, smashed money changer and bank stalls at the temple, and told people to pay their taxes was a *gasp* socialist! And not some Ayn Rand reading, bootstrap pulling, rugged neo-capitalist. They'd also see that a carpenter born to poverty in a barn in the middle of bumfuck nowhere is about as far from a silver-spoon millionaire born in a Manhattan penthouse as you can get.
