Ah, the classic capitalist gotcha.

Are you a poor socialist? Then you're just ignorant of how to keep money and lashing out, your position isn't real.

Are you a rich socialist? Then you're just a hypocrite who doesn't put his money where his mouth is, your position isn't real.

Any criticism of capitalism must be defeated by the individual's relationship to capital. If they have capital, they are actually a capitalist. If they do not have capital, they just do not understand capitalism.

"Oh really? Then why aren't you donating to charity???"

Obviously someone like Jeff Bezos can't truly be a socialist, but that's not because of his wealth...it's because his wealth is built on owning capital and extracting value from his workers.
