OH WAIT.

I forgot they added more games to the catalogue when I wasn't paying attention. That should read:

Games Completed: 6/108

Help I'm going in the wrong direction.

Currently Playing: Flipper Lifter

What Is It? A penguin elevator riding simulator. How many penguins and how many elevators do you like in your game? I hope the answer is a lot.

Thoughts:
-This is cute and does sort of capture a fun sort of arcade vibe with the high score chasing.
-The gameplay is essentially you start off with maybe three floors in this hotel and penguins will walk towards the elevator on a specific floor. Pick them up by using the crank to move the elevator up and down floors. Once you do, a timer starts to get them to the floor they want to get to (a clock will appear on that floor to let you know). Drop them off and you get time added to the countdown clock on the level. Take too long and they'll complain, freezing your elevator and draining time. You want to get drop off as many penguins as you can until time runs out. One point for each penguin. GO GO GO GO GO.
-It is a very simple game here and I basically just described 100% of the game, I think. There are hidden stages I think that you get for increasing your high scores. I top 75 penguins on the first level and the second stage unlocks, which is a mine.
-The mine is basically the same, except now there are two places to drop penguins off on a single horizontal level (one on the right and one on the left).
-Help I can't figure out how to get to the right side.
-Help I still can't figure out how to get to the right side and now I've pressed all the buttons.
-Oh ok, got it. There is this little part in between two levels that I didn't notice and if you sit there for a second, it will move you to the opposite side of the stage so you can do the drop offs on the right side or come back to the left as needed.
-There is a bit of a Playdate functionality issue here, because the screen is so small I'm having a hard time seeing what is going on in the level. It is very easy to miss the "!" for the level a penguin wants to go (especially when you have like five in the elevator) because of how small everything looks, and like I said I was having a problem on the mine stage because I couldn't tell there was another bit I could wait at.
-Levels get added the longer you play too, so your three story hotel becomes like a 10 story hotel by the time you drop off 100 penguins.
-There's also another minor issue here where because of how small things are, it can be slightly finicky about dropping penguins off. If you park the elevator at the entrance to a floor, the doors will open and penguins will get off and on. But because of how cramped things are, it is easy to miss the floor by a fraction of an inch and not really be able to tell you're not there because of how things are visually presented.
-I don't hate this so far though. I am running into some control issues and presentation issues, but it isn't a bad idea. Particularly since you have goals here to unlock more levels (there are 5 in total, I think) it really pushes replays and I'm having fun chasing high scores even with the frustrations.
-Really could use full leaderboards though and not just local ones. I could see myself score chasing here if there were scores to chase.

Time Played: 1 hour
High Score: 112 on the hotel and 59 on the mines. I'd like to get to 75 on the mines just so I'm not really struggling on levels 3/4 to unlock that fifth and final level which requires a high score of 300 between all the other levels
Beaten? Nope. Two stages in with 3 unlocked so far.
Grade: This might be a 5 or so. Maybe low 6. It is not too bad but pretty limited and I will likely call it quits because of some control/presentation frustrations after unlocking everything
Favorite Part So Far: Some penguins do an adorable belly slide after you drop them off. Which is a good way of letting me know I did a good job, I think.
