Bane_Of_Despair 09/30/23 11:33:08 PM #283:	Rise Against is more hardcore/punk rock than metal but I get it, although honestly when I hear "emo metal" I would say more like early Parkway Drive and Evanescence to a degree. I think Endgame is where Rise Against fell a bit off for me, Siren Song of the Counter Culture is my favorite and The Sufferer & The Witness is right there at peak with that. I think their later albums got a little too radio rock-y for me but I could see the appeal and they still have some bangers.
