isn't maher considered very liberal....very left of center....etc... Don't know that much about him Maher was a liberal and seen as kind of a rock star back in the 90s/00s when conservatism dominated the culture. He was an atheist when that wasn't mainstream, pro-gay marriage when that wasn't mainstream, pro-marijuana when that wasn't mainstream and criticized the Iraq War and W Bush heavily. That's where he got most of his goodwill. But that was his younger days. He hasn't really changed or moved any more left since I guess early 2010s. Liberals have a bunch of new fights now, ones he seems to think are "a step too far." And he's grown to really, really hate young people. I don't agree he's conservative or alt-right, but he is very much a liberal that was left behind and he sees no reason to update or change. So he's basically a crotchety old man who yells at clouds now. Plus there was Covid which broke his brain a lot. --- http://i.imgur.com/vDci4hD.gif ... Copied to Clipboard! |
