And if they do get a light sentence, expect something to happen to them while in prison. What prison is going to beat up some kids for being in jail? You think they're gonna throw these teens right in with the adults? Doubt. Maybe the COs or whatever will rough them up while they're in juvie but it's not going to be proportionate. Lol, again I point to all the articles where people have been drunk, driven on the wrong side of the road, high, or did hit and runs and had less than 5 years. Only ONE of them surprised me. I do have some solace some of the murders by cars I've seen that are intentional had any semblance of being fair. They usually ended up being 10+ years.
