Yeah but thats the exception, not the rule. Many people(even with trust) would still get frustrated if they see an EX talking with their current partner or constantly trying to reach out to them. There are people who get frustrated when a waiter/waitress flirts with their husband of 10 years. Is it out of the question if an ex constantly reaches out, for said partner to get frustrated and lay down their frustrations?

It isn't even about trust. Moreso, exes and certain situations can cross boundaries . Save for probable situations of maybe the partner having a child with a baby momma/daddy. And even then, things can still occur

Even if we boil it down to just friends, part of friendships is that the good ones continue to grow. Thing is, a straight man and straight women being friends can also potentially lead to a case where one starts developing more intimate feelings for the other. Which is normal.
