I would spend that time with my family. 30 minutes before impact I'd take some chairs out into the field so we get a front row seat at the end. I then proceed to get high as fuck.

Then when I see it coming, I stand up, lifting my hands into the air.

"Bring it on you son of a bitch!" I boldly proclaim as it enters the atmosphere.

From there one of two possibilities occur.

1. I'm obliterated.

2. I succeed in catching it and toss it back into the depths of space from whence it came.

In scenario 2 I become a hero, the most important person on the entire planet. All will bow and worship me as their saviour. We welcome in a new era on Earth with me as the ruler of everything.

Then suddenly, I snap out of my bad trip, look up and see it approach. And I utter one final monologue.

"Goddamn that was cool."
