Haha Sadly that's not at all how my mind works You could pick the anime up after the end of Arlon Park if you want to, I don't think you'd really be missing out on much, and there are guides on how to skip the filler stuff (don't skip G-8, its better than the story before and after imo). Considering you can get 3 eps watched in just over an hour, it is manageable.
