Having been raised on Diablo 1, seeing how shit 3 and 4 are makes me sad Im still playing D1. Never did get a character up to 50 back in the day. That game is definitely from the D&D era where there is a level cap but you arent really intended to get anywhere near it. Torgo posted... Unfortunately it's getting harder to play some of the older entries, but GoG and steam still have a bunch of them if you can get them to run reliably on modern hardware. The GoG and Steam releases often have the games optimised for modern compatibility too. Diablo 1 had issues on modern Windows for years, and the workaround (changing colour depth and running in compatibility mode) was unreliable. But the version I got through GoG in 2018ish works fine. --- "The US is not a single country.
