At least w/ PS5, the price difference was only $100 and the lack of an optical drive (which was still massively overpriced for what cost them at most $30 to implement; but at least the specs were the same). When it comes to consoles, cheaper typically wins vs. more powerful. And especially w/ MS, which can't help but put all the Xbox games on PC, anyone wanting a high end machine for their Xbox games would be better served just getting a gaming PC anyway. The Series S is smart. No frills, does what it needs to, and cheap. Xbox in general is held back by being pointless vs. a PC w/ how they handle their library, but at least the S has a place for people who don't want to pay a lot to game. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
